Sunrise is the instant at which the upper edge of the Sun appears above the horizon. Sunrise & sunset are, from one point of view, optical illusions. Objects appear higher in the sky than they are in reality.
Sunrise reminds us of our ephemeral life. What we decide to do with each precious capsule of time is of our own choosing. Let it not be said at the end of our day that our perceived value on earth was an optical illusion and our worth appeared to be higher than it was in reality.

SUNRISE - September 14, 2011
September 14, 2011 Sunrise 6: 19 a.m.
Sixteen years ago on this day I was nervous as Hell about my pending marriage to Lise. Zero regrets, best thing I have ever done with my TIME. Sixteen years tomorrow!
