SUNRISE - April 2, 2011

April 2, 2011 Sunrise 6:50 am

"'Whether it's the best of times or the worst of times, it's the only time we've got.'
Art Buchwald

We think we are always using our efforts consciously to make our life the best of times, but how often are we subconsciously allowing our thoughts and actions make portions of our lives the worst of times?  Regardless, it is the only time alloted to us...

If you woke up breathing, congratulations!  You have another chance."
 - Andrea Boydston

I love this one.  We often think that we blew our chances on one thing or another; looking back on last hour, last day, last decade, last relationship, last job and lamenting what could have been.  Let it go.  One hour , one day, one decade (if you are lucky) from now you will be looking back on these moments you are living now and you don't want to say - "If only I...

"Life is always walking up to us and saying, "Come on in, the living's fine," and what do we do?  Back off and take its picture?"
  - Russell Baker

No - you take off your watch (and perhaps your battery-powered hearing aids) and jump in - a cannonball if you dare...
