“20 years from now you will be disappointed by the things you
didn’t do more than by the one’s you did. So throw off the
bowlines. Sail  away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds
in  your sails.   Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain

"Always laugh when you can, it is cheap medicine. Merriment - it is the sunny side of existence." ~ Lord Bryon

"Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand.” ~Mark Twain

"I am a firm believer in the healing power of laughter."

Laughter has not been FDA approved for the treatment of cancer or any other medical condition (except maybe depression, and if it's not, it sure as hell should be).

"Self Discipline: You don't have to change that much for it to make a great deal of difference. A few simple disciplines can have a major impact on how your life works out in the next 90 days, let alone in the next 12 months or the next 3 years".  - Jim Rohn

Have been reading "Eat That Frog" 21 Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less TIME".  I figure it was definitely written for me.  Probably designed for those leaping up the corporate ladder, but works equally well for those that are divesting the accumulations of a life filled with fervent acquisition while now enthusiastically moving, unhampered by 'things', towards the light at the end of the Zen rainbow.

The book is designed after the observation by Mark Twain, that if the first thing you had to do each morning was eat a live frog, you could go through the rest of your day with the satisfaction of knowing that it probably was the worst things that was going to happen to you all day long.  Encourages do the most important task first.

Day one worked well for me - very satisfying ending to the day yesterday.

“Let us endeavor to live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.” ~Mark Twain

I would very seriously doubt that the mourners at your final goodbye will include your BMW and Gucci shoes (unless you are buried with them).  So how is your wealth counted; in volume of dollars or depth of relationships?
- Robert Welton

“That it will never come again
Is what makes life so sweet.”
~Emily Dickinson

Unlike childhood games or Nintendo, the game of LIFE has no 'do-overs" or reset buttons.  You can, however, turn the final tide in your favor to determine a more satisfactory outcome at the conclusion of your game.  Play hard.  Finish Well.

-Robert Welton
