SUNRISE - January 7, 2011

“You will never find time for anything.  If you want time you must make it.”  ~ Charles Buxton

I love this quote about the one power we do seem to have over TIME.  We can't make more hours literally, but we can enhance the value of the minutes we do possess.  Often we say we "would" or "could" do something different or become someone else or go somewhere exotic, if only we could just "find" the TIME.

The reality is that the TIME to do just about everything we wish is always there and is already ours for the taking.  We choose to use our TIME doing "A" while all the while wishing we had the time to do "B".  Others are spending their TIME living "B" while envying us for enjoying "A".  Inaction is the least productive form of action, but it is action nonetheless.

The key, it would seems is to look inward to what is really important for each of us.  The life that at the end of the day we will be satisfied with will beg the question: "Did we use our time wisely". Changing paths often, ever vigilant for the answer may the true path. We often travel the world over to find that we already had all that we ever sought.
